Brucellosis with multisystemic manifestations: Case report and literature review

چکیده

Brucellosis is an infection that affects mammals’ cells caused by a species from the genus Brucella, gram-negative, immobile, facultative, intracellular, and microaerophilic coccobacillus. In humans, pathogen are Brucella melitensis, B. abortus, suis canis. We presenting case of 62-year-old man with confirmed brucellosis his consequent cardiovascular, cutaneous, gastrointestinal, hepatic, osteomuscular, renal hematological complications. It necessary to be highly suspicious this infection, since its non-specific nature can challenging for physician. Keywords: melitensis; mammals cells; brucellosis; Mexico
